Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Content Services

In this role, as a Senior Account Executive ECM, you will be selling market leading solutions to enterprise accounts. Using a consultative selling approach, you will dive deep into your accounts and uncover challenges to solve with our solutions. You will be supported by an all-star team of specialists and provided the necessary tools and support team for success. We reward our Account Executives with a competitive compensation package.
A successful candidate in this role will create new opportunities to grow our business, identifying new markets, partners, and customers primarily in the OpenText, SAP, and M-Files market. This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with customers and other RDS Consultants in the delivery of ECM engagements, as well as with the Solution Consultants and Strategic Partners throughout the sales and delivery cycles.
Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, operations, and remain up to date on industry news.
Understand our customers’ needs/challenges and be able to articulate how our solutions benefit them.
Identify new leads and manage the sales cycle from opportunity to close.
Provide insight and ideas for new marketing initiatives.
Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Find and develop new markets and improve sales.
Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Qualify potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating profitable contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations. Interacting with services, and partners to scope project efforts, create estimates and respond to RFPs.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A successful track record of selling enterprise ECM software for at least 7 years.
Experience working in a consultative capacity with C-level customers on complex cloud-based, on-premises or hybrid solutions.
3+ years’ experience with OpenText, SAP, and/or M-Files customer markets
Experience selling IT Consulting Services and integrated solution sales.
Experience selling IT Products, including bundling of licensing and implementation services.
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively.
Prepare sales budgets and projections.
Prepare customer specific proposals and presentations.
Strong communication skills and IT fluency Light travel might be required of this position.
This is a revenue-generating position.
