The Senior Global Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business globally. A successful candidate in this role will create new opportunities to grow our business, identifying new markets, partners, and customers primarily in the M-Files, and SAP market. Must have experience developing sales strategies, negotiating with partners, and providing training to sales teams. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
The Senior Global Account Executive manages executive relationships and brings a point of view to the customer engagement. To be successful in this role the Account Executive needs to be able to sell the value of our solution(s). Not just sell a product or service but an integrated solution that solves specific business challenges of our customers. We do not sell a one size fits all solution, we sell a set of capabilities that when architected and deployed correctly addresses a business need or pain point.
You are Great At
Prospecting and Winning new mid-market customer accounts (100 to 750 employees)
Qualifying potential customers
Negotiating complex sales cycle to close
Generating proposal agreements
Calling upon existing network of contacts that are prospects for the M-Files solution
Working with existing customers daily
Educating existing customers on new functionality
Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in designated customer base
Assessing a prospect's complex, technical document management/business process needs and developing a comprehensive solution with M-Files Intelligent Information Management Software.
Conducting daily online demos and onsite meetings with prospective customers demonstrating the M-Files Solution.
Requirements
3 to 5 years of sales experience in a technology-centric environment. A history of success in selling one or more of the following -- Document Management, Database, ERP, Integration, CRM solutions is strongly preferred
3+ years of sales experience along with the ability to conduct professional, persuasive remote or onsite meetings with software demonstrations
Bachelor’s degree - College degree or equivalent work experience in software and solution sales
Proven work ethic and ability to effectively build and manage a sales pipeline.
Proven ability to communicate and demo product strengths and benefits with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to listen to the customer and translate their needs into actionable pre-sales tasks and new business proposals.
Ability to overcome objections and challenges.
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (ie. Nutshell.com).
Working knowledge of Windows-based environments and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in solution selling, document and content management systems is a plus.
