What’s new in OpenText Enterprise Applications

The latest announcement by OpenText™ of Cloud Editions (CE 21.4) includes some great updates across the OpenText enterprise applications ecosystem. Check out some of the latest updates below.

Vendor Invoice Management CE 21.4

• More capabilities have been added into SAP Fiori applications. OpenText has included a Capture Validation workplace and an Accounts Payable workplace where information processors can work in a single access point. Also added are several usability and accessibility improvements and enhanced localization support for India, Italy, and Germany. Support with SAP ILM for information management is also new.

• Extended ECM for SAP

  • As part of the OpenText strategy to add pre-built Business Scenarios to Extended ECM products, they have included a business scenario for Enterprise Asset Management into Extended ECM for SAP CE 21.4, as well as all the other general business scenarios.

• OpenText CORE Archive for SAP Solutions

  • OpenText has been working to make configuring the solution easier and quicker. To support this requirement, all configurations for the solution directly available in the application console. There is also a range of new reports that show the amount of storage and bandwidth used over any given period. Significant changes have also been made to the document viewing capabilities in Core Archive with Imaging WebViewer 21.4. This new user interface design enhances the annotation, tracking and auditing of documents within the viewer.

• Extended ECM for Engineering CE 21.4

  • A range of new usability elements in the form of graphical widgets, faceted search, dashboards that you can take direct action from and new reporting capabilities that can include custom metadata selections and criteria. Improvements also include the launch of a new state-based workflow engine to automate and control engineering processes including review and approve, squad check, distribution and states and transitions.
